Born in 1974, Davide Frattini Frilli graduated in architecture from the “Politecnico di Milano” in 2000.
Immediately afterwards he started to work with important and awarded architecture and design firms, such as Mario Bellini, Mauro Galantino and Marc Sadler, moving through different areas of design, from residential architecture to interior and product design.
Since 2005 he basically focused on interior design, particularly retail, working with Piuarch and, for 6 years, with Vudafieri Saverino Partners. During this period he designed and completed both set-ups and stores worldwide for Italian and international fashion and luxury brands (Tod’s, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Piaget, LK Bennett amongst other). Meanwhile he experimented a diverse range of interior projects, including restaurants, spas, exhibitions and offices.
In 2011 he founded Frattinifrilli design practice and continued to focus on retail design. Until 2018 around 35 boutiques have been designed for the luxury shoes french brand Roger Vivier.
In 2017, displaying at Milan Design Week three self-produced pieces, he unveiled a side of his work which he has always been cultivating: furniture and product design. Since then, his projects have been included in other leading furniture and design events and some of them have been rewarded with renowned design prizes, like the German Design Award.
